Stories of Professional Experiences During the Holiday Season
One day, about a two weeks before Christmas, I was working on a final project that needed to be done by the end of my internship. Things were fairly calm, my fellow interns and co-workers were all focussed on their own projects, and our bosses had gone into a nearby office to get ready for an upcoming meeting.
Suddenly, I heard the faint sounds of Freddie Mercury rising in the distance. I stopped and looked around trying to find the source of the singing, vaguely worried that I had finally spent too much time looking at numbers, and noticed that the people next to me were starting to look up as well.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone moving and I turned to see my one boss singing into a pen while another one was doing some pretty epic air guitar.
The other interns and I spent the next ten minutes watching our bosses perform Bohemian Rhapsody, wondering vaguely if our bosses actually knew that the office walls were completely see-through.
